Bournemouth announced six pre-season friendlies, against Queens Park Rangers,[30] Yeovil Town,[31] Portsmouth, Valencia,[32] Estoril[33] and Napoli.

[36][37] In the FA Cup, Bournemouth entered the competition in the third round and were drawn at home to either AFC Fylde or Wigan Athletic.
