The 2017 Dakota State Trojans football team represented Dakota State University as a member of the North Star Athletic Association (NSAA) during the 2017 NAIA football season.
[1] Led by ninth-year head coach Josh Anderson, the Trojans compiled an overall record of 8–3 with a mark of 6–2 in conference play, placing second in the NSAA.
