The 2018–19 CAF Confederation Cup group stage were played from 3 February to 17 March 2019.
[2] The draw for the group stage was held on 21 January 2019, 12:00 CAT (UTC+2), at the CAF headquarters in Cairo, Egypt.
[3][4] The 16 teams, including the winners of the first round with the best CAF 5-year ranking, Étoile du Sahel, and the 15 winners of the play-off round of qualifying, were drawn into four groups of four.
The winners and runners-up of each group advanced to the quarter-finals of the knockout stage.
