[2][3] On March 7, 2020, Kenny Atkinson resigned as the Nets' head coach and was replaced by Jacque Vaughn on an interim basis.

[4][5] The season was suspended by league officials following the games of March 11[6] after it was reported that Rudy Gobert tested positive for COVID-19.

[8][9] On April 1, general manager Sean Marks announced that all four players recovered and were cleared by local health officials.
