2019–20 Golden State Warriors season

The Warriors entered the season as the five-time defending Western Conference champion and runners-up in the 2019 NBA Finals, where they lost to the Toronto Raptors in six games.

After considering signing with teams such as the New York Knicks and Los Angeles Clippers, Durant left in a sign-and-trade with the Brooklyn Nets, with the Golden State Warriors acquiring All-Star guard D'Angelo Russell as part of the deal.
