The 2019–20 Kansas City Roos men's basketball team represented the University of Missouri–Kansas City during the 2019–20 NCAA Division I men's basketball season.

The Roos, led by first-year head coach Billy Donlon, played their home games at the Swinney Recreation Center in Kansas City, Missouri as members of the Western Athletic Conference (WAC).

On July 1, 2019, the University of Missouri–Kansas City (UMKC) announced that its athletic program, formerly known as the UMKC Kangaroos, would officially become the Kansas City Roos.
