[1] On 16 December, Zdravko Zdravkov left the club to take up a role in China,[2] whilst Pavel Vrba was confirmed as Ludogorets Razgrad's new manager starting on 1 January 2020.
[3] On 28 February, Ludogorets' match against Arda Kardzhali scheduled for 1 March was moved to 18 March due to the precautionary measures around Ludogorets travel to Milan for their UEFA Europa League Round of 32 match against Inter Milan and the outbreak of COVID-19 in Italy.
[4] On 13 March, the Bulgarian Football Union decided to suspend all fixtures until 13 April in accordance with the measures taken to combat the COVID-19 pandemic.
[5] On 3 April, the state of national emergency was extended until 13 May[6] and on 11 April the Minister of Youth and Sports Krasen Kralev confirmed that no mass participation sports events and full training sessions will be held until that date.
