The 2020 Laurence Olivier Awards was held on 25 October 2020 at the London Palladium and hosted by Jason Manford, who presented all of the awards except Special Recognition.
[1] The Oliviers were originally scheduled to be held on 5 April 2020 at the Royal Albert Hall with Manford as host, but was cancelled on 17 March due to the COVID-19 pandemic in the United Kingdom.
[2][3][4] Any new production that opened between 20 February 2019 and 18 February 2020 in a theatre represented in membership of Society of London Theatre is eligible for consideration, provided it ran for the minimum amount of performances required for that category.
