The 2021–22 Texas–Rio Grande Valley Vaqueros men's basketball team represented the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley in the 2021–22 NCAA Division I men's basketball season as members of the Western Athletic Conference.

The team was led by first-year head coach Matt Figger.

With the exception of two games at Bert Ogden Arena, the Vaqueros played their home games at the UTRGV Fieldhouse.

In the first round of the WAC tournament, they lost to New Mexico State.
