The 2022–23 season was ŠK Slovan Bratislava's 17th consecutive in the top flight of Slovak football.

Slovan successfully defended their league title, winning it for a record-extending fifth consecutive time.

Subsequently, Slovan participated in this season's edition of the UEFA Europa League but were eliminated in the third qualifying round.

Slovan automatically advanced to the UEFA Conference League, where they topped their group, ensuring their participation in the Round of 16.

This was also the first time since the famous year of 1969 when Slovan played in a European competition during the spring part of the season.
