The tournament began on 28 October 2022 and finished on 5 July 2023.

To reduce financial and logistical issues, a set of three teams gathered at one venue and a "mini tournament" was contested where each team played two matches against one another.

Following their withdrawal in the 2021–22 season due to COVID-19 related travel requirements, the national teams of Australia and New Zealand rejoined for this season.
