It will be played from 23 August to 8 September 2022 in Algeria in Oran which represent the administrative organization of the tournament,[1] and two other cities, Sig and Mostaganem which they holds each ones the football matches.

Host Algeria won the tournament for the first time after beating Morocco on penalties 4–2.

The draw took place on 31 July 2022 in Abha, Saudi Arabia.

[3] Bahrain,  Djibouti,  Jordan,  Kuwait,  Qatar and  Somalia did not enter.

[4] The group winners and the two best second-placed teams advance to the quarter-finals.
