2022 Basilan local elections

Voters selected candidates for all local positions: a town mayor, vice mayor, and town councilors, as well as members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, a vice-governor, a governor, and representatives for the province's lone congressional district in the Philippine House of Representatives.

Incumbents are italicized.Nasser Salain, Moumar Muarip, and Allet Ismael ran for reelection and defended their seats.

Incumbent board members Nasser Asarul and Monsoy Aramil ran for reelection and defended their seats.

Jay Salliman, son of incumbent Governor Jim Hataman-Salliman,[9] was the highest voted candidate.

Former board member, Marwan Hataman, was elected once again to his old post after unsuccessfully running for councilor in Sumisip in 2019.
