The 2022 IBA Women's World Boxing Championships (the 12th edition of the championships) was held in Istanbul, Turkey from 8 to 20 May 2022.
[3] Medal winners were awarded prize money; gold medallists earn $100,000, silver medallists $50,000, and bronze medallists $25,000.

Algeria, Kosovo, Lithuania, Mozambique, Spain and Uzbekistan won their first medals at the Women's World Boxing Championships.
