The 2022 Wyoming Cowboys football team represented the University of Wyoming as a member of the Mountain Division of the Mountain West Conference during the 2022 NCAA Division I FBS football season.

The Cowboys were led by ninth-year head coach Craig Bohl and played their home games at War Memorial Stadium.

They finished the season 7-6, 5-3 in Mountain West play to finish third in the Mountain Division.

They were invited to the Arizona Bowl, where they fell in overtime to Ohio.
