On 26 February 2024, Al Hilal won a record fourteenth consecutive Saudi Pro League match with a 2–0 victory against Al-Ettifaq, surpassing rival Al-Nassr's previous league record of thirteen consecutive wins achieved from November 2013 to February 2014.
[2] On 5 April, following a 4–1 victory over Al-Khaleej, Al Hilal set a new world record for consecutive matches won by a men's top-flight professional football club across all competitions with 32, breaking the record of 31 previously set by Irish club Belfast Celtic in 1948.
[4] This record did not last long, as the Turkmen club Arkadag broke the record in the same year, reaching 61 consecutive wins, before the streak ended on November 1 after the team lost to Al-Arabi with a score of 3–2.
