2023–24 Chicago Bulls season

[3] This was mostly due to veteran player DeMar DeRozan leading the league in minutes played and scoring the second-most clutch points in the regular season.

[4] DeRozan was also runner-up for NBA Clutch Player of the Year, narrowly losing to Golden State Warriors guard Steph Curry.

On April 1, 2024, despite losing to the Atlanta Hawks 113–101, due to having a 2–1 record against them in the regular season, the Bulls were able to secure their second consecutive postseason with a play-in berth.

[6] They initially had a second round pick, but it was forfeited due to tampering violations with respect to free agency.

[7][8] During the in-season tournament period, the Bulls competed in Group C of the Eastern Conference, which included the Boston Celtics, Brooklyn Nets, Toronto Raptors, and Orlando Magic.
