The teams were awarded direct qualification for the 2023–24 season, which qualified for the knockout round and finished in the top eight positions in the 2022–23 season.
[4] Originally 8 teams qualified for the season, but Eastern Sporting Union didn't communicate with AIFF on their participation and thus the League Committee decided to continue with the remaining 7 teams for the season.
