They were led by 19th-year head coach Chris Mooney and played their home games at the Robins Center in Richmond, Virginia as members of the Atlantic 10 Conference.
Richmond secured the Atlantic 10 Conference regular-season championship with a 73–66 win over Saint Joseph's on March 6, 2024.
