Led by former Lady Vol Kellie Harper,[1] in her fifth year as head coach, the team played their games at Thompson–Boling Arena as members of the Southeastern Conference.
They received a bye in the SEC tournament and advanced to the semifinals, where they lost by one point to South Carolina.
