The 2023–24 UMBC Retrievers women's basketball team represented the University of Maryland, Baltimore County during the 2023–24 NCAA Division I women's basketball season.

The Retrievers were led by fourth-year head coach Johnetta Hayes, and played their home games at the Chesapeake Employers Insurance Arena in Catonsville, Maryland as members of the America East Conference.

The Retrievers finished the 2022–23 season 14–15, 10–6 in America East play, to finish in fourth place.
