2023 French Open – Women's singles

Defending champion Iga Świątek[1] defeated Karolína Muchová in the final, 6–2, 5–7, 6–4 to win the women's singles tennis title at the 2023 French Open.

[2] Świątek became the third woman in the Open Era (after Monica Seles and Naomi Osaka) to win her first four major finals, and the youngest woman to win four majors since Serena Williams in 2002.

Świątek dropped just one set en route to the title, to Muchová in the final.

[7] Elina Avanesyan was the first lucky loser to reach the fourth round since Nicole Jagerman in 1988, and the first at any major since María José Gaidano at the 1993 US Open.
