Promoted from the 2022 Malaysia Premier League Expelled or Withdrawn from the 2023 Malaysia Super League Note: Flags indicate national team as has been defined under FIFA eligibility rules.

Southeast Asian (SEA) players who have acquired at least 3 international caps for their senior national team can play in the Super League without any restrictions.

However, SEA players with less than 3 international caps must be approved by the Malaysian Football League (MFL).
