With head coach Ivan Cleary and co-captains Nathan Cleary and Isaah Yeo, the Panthers competed in the National Rugby League's 2023 Telstra Premiership and won the minor premiership.
In 2023, it was the twentieth anniversary of the Penrith Panthers' 2003 NRL Grand Final win against the Sydney Roosters.
This was Penrith's second premiership.
