[1] Ahead of the tournament, the Czech police prevented the Russian player Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova from entering the country.

[2] Russian and Belarusian players were subsequently asked not to travel to Czechia and were forced to withdraw from the tournament.

[3] They would have competed as neutrals, without any national flag or symbol, but the Czech government passed a resolution banning all Russian and Belarusian athletes from entering the country due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
