The 2023 The Citadel Bulldogs football team represented The Citadel as a member of the Southern Conference (SoCon) during the 2023 NCAA Division I FCS football season.

The Bulldogs were led by first-year head coach Maurice Drayton and played home games at Johnson Hagood Stadium in Charleston, South Carolina.

The Bulldogs drew an average home attendance of 11,005 in 2023.
