The men's road race of the 2023 UCI Road World Championships was a cycling event that took place on 6 August 2023 in Glasgow, Great Britain.

[1] Dutch cyclist Mathieu van der Poel won the race after a crash in a high speed corner, racing solo, 16 km before the finish.

[2] Qualification was based mainly on the UCI World Ranking by nations as of 30 June 2023.

[4] 195 cyclists from 58 nations competed in the event.
