The swimming events at the 2023 World Aquatics Championships were held from 23 to 30 July 2023 at the Marine Messe Fukuoka Hall A in Fukuoka, Japan.
[1][2] Léon Marchand of France won the Male Swimmer of the Championships award and Kaylee McKeown of Australia won the Female Swimmer of Championships award based on individual point score.
[3] World Records were broken in six individual and three relay events.
China's Qin Haiyang and Australia's Kaylee McKeown became the first male and female athletes at a World Aquatics Championships to win the 50m, 100m & 200m events in a single stroke, at a single World Aquatics Championships.
