2024–25 Calgary Flames season

[1] This season was overshadowed because their former star player Johnny Gaudreau, along with his brother Matthew, were killed while riding their bikes on August 29, 2024, after being hit from behind by a suspected drunk driver.

The team is expected to dedicate the season in his memory.

As with previous years, the Flames took part in the annual Young Stars Classic, for its 11th edition, once again held in Penticton.

[4] Notes: Games played at the South Okanagan Events Centre in Penticton, British Columbia.

Below are the Calgary Flames selections at the 2024 NHL entry draft, which was held on June 28 and 29, 2024, at Sphere in Paradise, Nevada.
