Panathinaikos are the current defending champions having won the 2023–24 edition of this cup.
The winner of this year's Cup will earn the right to participate in the 2025–26 UEFA Europa League third qualifying round.
Ionikos withdrew from Super League 2 and then declared withdrawal from the cup as well.
According to the announcement, in the event that a Super League 2 team is drawn with a Cup winner of the local FCA championships then the match will be held at the home ground of the local FCA Cup winner.
[6] The winners of the third round and the Super League 1 teams, that enter at this stage, will participate in the fourth round, apart from the 4 teams participating in the European competitions (PAOK, AEK, Olympiacos, Panathinaikos).
Each tie in the knockout phase, apart from the quarter-finals and the semi-finals, was played by a single match.
If no goals were scored during extra time, the winners were decided by a penalty shoot-out.
