The Bison, who are led by sixth year head coach Jory Collins, play their home games at the Scheels Center, as members of the Summit League.

In the Summit League tournament the Bison defeated Denver and Oral Roberts in the quarterfinals and semifinals to reach their first ever championship game.

They fell to South Dakota State in the title game to miss out on a berth to the NCAA tournament.

[1] However, they did earn an automatic bid to the 2024 Women's National Invitation Tournament, and even received a first round bye.

In their first tournament game, they defeated Montana at home for the program's first postseason win in the Division I era.
