Six teams will compete during the season, located in Boston, Saint Paul, Montreal, Newark, Ottawa, and Toronto.

[1] On September 9, 2024, the PWHL revealed new names and logos for all six teams: Boston Fleet, Minnesota Frost, Montreal Victoire, New York Sirens, Ottawa Charge, and Toronto Sceptres.

The season will also feature nine neutral site games across North America, dubbed the "PWHL Takeover Tour".

All Tuesday Night games will be streamed on Prime Video, as well as one of the two semi-final series.
