The season started on 16 August 2024 and will end on 24 May 2025.
[2] KenGold and Pamba Jiji were promoted as champions and runners-up respectively of the 2023–24 Tanzanian Championship League, replacing the 2023–24 Tanzanian Premier League bottom two teams, Geita Gold and Mtibwa Sugar.
Each team plays each other twice (30 matches each), once at home and once away.
To preserve chronological evolvements, (1) any postponed matches, and (2) matches that are originally scheduled and played after a full round has started, are not included to the round at which they were originally scheduled, but added to the full round they were played immediately afterwards.
From the schedule released by the league, there are earlier rounds that will overlap.
