On December 14, the 19th-ranked Lady Vols set an NCAA record for the most three-point field goals made in a game.

The Lady Vols won the game against North Carolina Central University, 139–59.

They received a bye in the SEC tournament and advanced to the semifinals, where they lost by one point to South Carolina.
