The 2024 season was Viking's 6th consecutive year in the Eliteserien, and their 74th season in the top flight of Norwegian football.

The club participated in the Eliteserien and the Norwegian Cup.

It was the club's fourth season with Bjarte Lunde Aarsheim and Morten Jensen as managers.
