2025 Kabaddi World Cup (World Kabaddi)

[4][2][5] It will be the first time World Kabaddi has hosted its World Cup tournament outside of Asia (out of two times total since the tournament series began in 2019).

[7][8] The 2019 Kabaddi World Cup tournament was held in Malacca, Malaysia.

A 2020 edition of the tournament was scheduled, but then was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The decision to award the 2025 World Cup to the West Midlands region of England was in part due to its hosting of the British Kabaddi League and the 2022 Commonwealth Games,[9] as well as its significant South Asian community.
