It was the annual edition of the world championships in the cycling discipline of cyclo-cross and was organized by UCI between the 31st January and 2 February 2025 in Liévin, in France.

[3] The Elite Women's race took place on Saturday February 1, 2025 (2025-02-01) in 6 laps over a total distance of 16.95 km.

[5] The Junior Women's race took place on Saturday February 1, 2025 (2025-02-01) in 5 laps over a total distance of 14.15 km.

[6] The Elite Men's race took place on Sunday February 2, 2025 (2025-02-02) in 8 laps over a total distance of 22.55 km.

[9] The Mixed Team Relay race took place on Friday 31 January 2025 over a total distance of 16.95 km and 10 nations took part.
