The 2031 AFC Asian Cup will be the 20th edition and mark the 75th anniversary of the AFC Asian Cup, started in 1956, the quadrennial international men's football championship of Asia organised by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC).
Indonesia announced its intention to bid for the 2031 Asian Cup on 11 December 2024.
[1][2][3][4] Indonesia previously co-hosted the 2007 tournament with Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam.
The Kuwait Football Association has announced it has submitted a bid for the 2031 Asian Cup on 30 December 2024 following the 26th Arabian Gulf Cup's conclusion.
They also plan to build more stadiums as per AFC and FIFA standards.
