45th News and Documentary Emmy Awards

The 45th News and Documentary Emmy Awards were presented by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS), to honor the best in American news and documentary programming in 2023.

The winners were announced on two ceremonies held at Palladium Times Square in New York City and live-streamed at Watch.TheEmmys.TV and the Emmys app.

[3] National Geographic's investigative series Trafficked with Mariana van Zeller led the nominations with 20, followed by PBS' documentary program FRONTLINE with 17.

The nominations for the international categories were announced on August 8, 2024, where both Brazil and the United Kingdom received two nominations each, while Bulgaria and India achieved their first nominations for the Current Affairs & News awards.
