60th British Academy Film Awards

The 60th British Academy Film Awards, more commonly known as the BAFTAs, took place on 11 February 2007 at the Royal Albert Hall in London, honouring the best national and foreign films of 2006.

Presented by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts, accolades were handed out for the best feature-length film and documentaries of any nationality that were screened at British cinemas in 2006.

[1] The Queen won Best Film and Best Actress for Helen Mirren.

The ceremony also featured the inaugural BAFTA Award for Best Animated Film, which was awarded to Happy Feet, directed by George Miller.
