79th Oregon Legislative Assembly

In the November 2016 elections, the Democratic Party of Oregon lost one seat in the Senate leaving a 17–13 majority and maintaining its 35–25 control of the House.

[1] Based on the results of the 2016 elections, the Oregon State Senate is composed of 17 Democrats and 13 Republicans.

Republicans gained one seat in District 3.
