Takida

The band's name comes from the character Gohee Takeda in the Japanese anime series Silver Fang.

The same year, the single "Curly Sue" topped radio channel P3s "Tracks" list for ten consecutive weeks.

[citation needed] "Handlake village"[1] and "The Things We Owe" also reached number one on the Tracks chart.

[2] On 18 August 2009, Takida announced that they had signed a contract with the global Roadrunner Records.

Band members Tomas Wallin and Chris Rehn also started the project Dreamstate, with Elize Ryd (Amaranthe) and Tommy Levin providing vocals.
