A Splendid Hazard is a 1920 American silent drama film directed by Allan Dwan and starring Henry B. Walthall.
The main character, Karl Breitman (Henry B. Walthall) thinks he is a descendant of Napoleon and tries bring back to France the French monarchy.
As part of his plot he courts Hedda Gobert (Rosemary Theby) as she owns some Napoleon's papers.
He travels to America to visit Admiral Killigrew (Hardee Kirkland).
He finds a treasure map in the Admiral's home and then travels to Corsica.
