Aavere, Harju County

Aavere is a village in Anija Parish, Harju County, in northern Estonia.

[1] Aavere was first mentioned in 1241 in the Liber Census Daniæ, during the reign of King Valdemar II of Denmark, as Hauaueeræ.

[5] The village is located in northern Estonia, in western Harju County.

It lies 7.12 kilometres (4.42 mi) to the northwest of the town of Kehra, the seat of the municipality.

The nearest railway station is 5.57 kilometres (3.46 mi) away in Raasiku, which links to Tallinn and Tartu.
