Throughout his career, he assumed several positions, including director of the Infantry School, secretary general of the Ministry of Defense, deputy director of the Intelligence and Reconnaissance, and commander of the 2nd Infantry Division at the Second Army.

El-Nabi played a central role in planning and executing military operations that temporarily shifted the strategic balance in the region.
