Abdul-Ilah al-Bashir al-Noeimi (Arabic: عبد الإله البشير النعيمي) is the former Chief of Staff of the Supreme Military Council (SMC) of the Free Syrian Army.
The tribe is spread across the Middle East,[1] and is prominent in the villages of the Golan Heights and the Quneitra countryside.
[2] Noeimi has called for support from the European Union and the United States, either through the supply of weapons, or through direct military intervention.
[5] Colonel Heitham Afeisi, a co-founder of the Syria Revolutionaries Front and the Commander of the Maarat al-Naaman Martyrs Brigade,[2] was appointed as Noeimi's deputy.
[1] The United States has sidelined Noeimi's office, and American officials have called his title a "business card".
