Abronia mellifera, the white sand verbena, is a herbaceous perennial flowering plant in the Nyctaginaceae family.

It is found in grasslands, sandy soils, and cold desert scrub at elevations of 100–2,000 m (330–6,560 ft) above sea level.

At the state level, the species is listed as No Status Rank (not assessed) in Oregon, Washington and Utah; Vulnerable (S3) in Wyoming; and Critically Imperiled (S1) in Idaho.
