Ad-Dukhan (Arabic: الدخان, ad-dukhān; meaning: Smoke) is the 44th chapter (surah) of the Quran with 59 verses (ayat).
The word dukhan, meaning 'smoke', is mentioned in verse 10.
Regarding the timing and contextual background of the believed revelation (asbāb al-nuzūl), it is an earlier "Meccan surah", which means it is believed to have been revealed in Mecca, rather than later in Medina.
The truth about Dukhan is Dark cloud of rain which will appear everywhere and the rain will continue for 40 days and 40 night, indeed believers feel cold while disbelievers will taste death by drunken water, that time people will ask mercy from Allah but no use.
