[2][3][4] The Misers[5] (Fronted by Neil Ivison) are an Americana band, based in Worcestershire, they released their debut album Amplified Life Stories in 2010, recorded at Rockfield Studios.

[8] In 2012, Barry received a call from Simon Fowler asking him to play piano on tour whilst he was promoting his debut solo album Simon Fowlers Merrymouth, featuring guest appearances from John McCusker and Andy Cutting.

Following on from the success of the first album and tour, Barry joined the band on a full-time basis.

The album once again features McCusker, and a special appearance from Chas Hodges of Chas and Dave Barry dated Georgia Smith, a British-Canadian voice over artist, and member of the Hart wrestling family.

Hart has and won multiple medals at the IPC Athletics World Championships.
