Ahmad Adamu Mu'azu CON (born 11 June 1955) is a Nigerian politician who served as Governor of Bauchi State[1] from 1999 to 2007.
He had just been appointed PDP National Chairman Born in Boto, Tafawa Balewa Local Government Area of Bauchi State (then part of the Northern Region), Mu'azu attended primary school from 1962 to 1968.
He then attended the School of Basic Studies at Ahmadu Bello University in Zaria and later received a Bachelor of Science degree in Quantity Surveying.
Between 1987 and 1997, he served in a number of capacities including director of the Nigeria Ports Authority and a member of the Bauchi State Rural Development Council.
In January 1999, Mu'azu contested and won the gubernatorial race of Bauchi State on the People's Democratic Party (PDP) platform.
